Waterfalls & Water Gardens

Most man-made landscape waterfalls are designed to descend into a garden pond before the water is filtered and pumped back to the top of the cascade to continually recirculate.  These ponds can contain fish or aquatic plants and can also attract wildlife like frogs and turtles.

The water in a pond-less water feature flows down normally, but instead of collecting in a pond, the water drains into a bed filled with stones and gravel before being pumped back to the top.

Our talented team can design a water feature to suit your desires and landscape. An existing hillside can be used or an entirely new feature created from scratch. The ultimate goal is to create the most natural looking design with careful placement of rocks and ledges to produce the distinct sounds of flowing water that we all love.

New Milford CT Landscaping

Water, whether still or in motion, has so great an attraction for the lover of nature, that the most beautiful landscape seems scarcely complete without it.

stunning transformations

Silverback Sanctuary: A formerly unusable backyard space with a steep, difficult to mow lawn has been converted to a natural stream, complete with native moss-covered field stone. The stream ends at a small koi pond above an intimate patio, firepit, and dining area, making for a truly relaxing gathering space complete with the sound of flowing water.

Southern New Milford Stream: A shaded side yard on a hillside was artfully converted to a combination stream and seating area. An added bonus to this installation is the clever concealment of a large pool pump, filters, and electrical service panels for a lower swimming pool. This is a “pondless waterfall” design where the stream concludes over river rock/gravel and returns to the top.

We believe everyone everywhere benefits from a connection with nature.
